Do I need to clean my turkey before shipping it?
No cleaning is required. If you prefer to breast or cape the bird before sending, please let us know in advance. Our top priority is preserving the integrity and quality of the feather, so we recommend minimal handling before shipping.
How do I prep and ship to you?
Turkey:
1. Prepare the Fan (Optional): If possible, remove the fan before packing.
2. Bag and Freeze: Place the body—and the fan if removed—inside a double trash bag. Freeze thoroughly.
3. Pack in a Cooler: Use a sturdy Styrofoam or inexpensive hard-sided cooler. Add dry ice to keep the bird frozen during transit.
4. Secure the Cooler: Ensure the lid fits tightly and seal it with strong packing tape.
5. Ship Promptly: Send via a reliable carrier using a 3-day (or faster) shipping service
Duck & Pheasant:
1. Freeze and Bag: Place the specimen in a sealed plastic bag (Ziploc or double trash bag) and freeze completely.
2. Pack in a Cooler: Use a small cooler or insulted box —Styrofoam or hard-sided is fine—and add dry ice to maintain freezing during transit.
3. Ship Promptly: Send using a reliable carrier with a 2 day (or faster) shipping option.

* We reserve the right to refuse any specimen that arrives with a noticeable odor or evidence of spoilage. Such specimens will not be returned until shipping fees are paid by the client.

* While every effort is made to ensure the best possible outcome, natural variations and unforeseen issues may affect the final mount. We are not responsible for accidents, carrier damage, or loss once the finished piece leaves our possesion.

* Estimated completion times are provided as a courtesy and may vary based on species, seasonal workload, and unforeseen circumstances. While we strive to meet all projected deadlines, these estimates are not guaranteed. No refunds or partial refunds will be issued if the stated turnaround time is exceeded.

*All shipping costs are the responsibility of the client. This includes both the cost of sending products to our studio and the return shipment of completed mounts/frames. Shipping fees are not included in our pricing and must be paid in full before the finished piece is released.
